Return and Exchanges Policy
At Planet Apparel, a brand owned and operated by Planet Products, Inc., we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. Because many of our products are custom-decorated or personalized, our return policy is designed to protect product integrity while ensuring fair resolution of any issues.
1. Customized and Decorated Products
Most of our items are made to order and customized through embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, or other decoration methods. For that reason, customized or decorated items are final sale and non-returnable once production begins. Returns or replacements will only be accepted if the product arrives damaged, defective, produced incorrectly, or differs significantly from the approved sample or design. If you believe your item meets one of these conditions, you must contact us within 7 business days of delivery and provide:
-Clear photos or videos showing the issue or defect.
-A brief written description explaining the problem (e.g., misprint, damage, wrong color, etc.). This allows our production team to verify the issue before authorizing a replacement or refund. Unauthorized returns or unverified claims may be rejected.
2. Blank (Non-Decorated) Products
We accept returns for blank, non-decorated apparel within 15 days of delivery under the following conditions:
-Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with tags attached.
- A return authorization (RA) must be obtained before shipping items back.
- Unauthorized returns may be refused or not refunded. To request a return, email info@planetapparel.co with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions and the proper return shipping address. In most cases, vendors charge a 20% restocking fee on returned blank goods. This fee will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error or a product defect. Shipping costs are not refundable.
3. Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. If the issue is verified as our error, Planet Apparel will provide a prepaid return label or cover replacement shipping costs.
4. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges for custom-decorated items. If you need a different size or color for a blank (non-decorated) item, you may return it (following the blank product policy) and place a new order for the desired item.
5. Samples and Brand Restrictions
Certain brands and vendors require that specific products be sold only with decoration. Examples include premium brands such as Nike®, OGIO®, The North Face®, Champion®, Carhartt®, Cotopaxi®, TravisMathew®, Tommy Bahama®, Brooks Brothers®, New Era®, Eddie Bauer®, Outdoor Research®, Tentree®, and STANLEY/STELLA®. Blank samples for these brands are allowed only if provided free of charge to the end user for evaluation purposes. Paid samples or any resale orders for these brands must include decoration. Returns of blank premium-brand samples sold in violation of vendor guidelines cannot be accepted.
6. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of approval or rejection. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Shipping fees and restocking charges are non-refundable. Refunds may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete: 1. Retain all packaging materials. 2. Contact us within 7 business days of delivery at info@planetapparel.co. 3. Include photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label for faster resolution. We will investigate and, if applicable, issue a replacement or refund promptly.
