Shipping and Delivery Policy
At Planet Apparel, a brand owned and operated by Planet Products, Inc. , we take pride in delivering every order with care and accuracy. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how shipping costs, timelines, and logistics are handled for all quotes and orders.
1. Quotation-Based Orders
Planet Apparel operates on a quote-based system rather than automated checkout to comply with brand and vendor guidelines. For this reason:
-All shipping costs are calculated manually and included in your official quote or order confirmation.
-Shipping charges depend on the destination, carrier, shipment weight, carton count, and service level (Ground, 2-Day, etc.).
-No automated “cart checkout” or flat-rate shipping applies. You will receive a detailed quote showing product cost, decoration, and shipping before confirming your order.
2. Order Processing Time
A. Decorated / Custom Orders: Custom-decorated items (embroidered, screen printed, or otherwise personalized) require production time after quote approval.
-Standard production time: 7–10 business days after artwork approval and payment confirmation.
-Larger or complex projects may require additional time; your sales representative will confirm lead times before production begins.
-Rush orders: In some cases, rush production may be available depending on capacity and product availability. Any additional charges for expedited processing will be clearly itemized and included in your quote before approval. B. Blank / Non-Decorated Items: For blank or undecorated apparel, orders typically process within 1–3 business days from quote approval and payment confirmation. Rush orders for blank items may also be accepted on a case-by-case basis, with applicable rush or expedited shipping fees added to the quote.
3. Shipping Methods
We use trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Shipping method and carrier selection will depend on product origin (vendor or warehouse), destination address, and required delivery speed. Tracking information is provided once your order ships.
4. Split Shipments
Depending on inventory availability or vendor location, your order may be shipped from
multiple warehouses. If split shipments occur, you will receive individual tracking numbers foreach portion of your order. All freight costs will be disclosed and approved in advance through your quote.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking details. Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update on the carrier’s website. If your order includes multiple tracking numbers, each will be listed in your shipping confirmation.
6. Delivery Timelines
Estimated transit times once shipped:
-Standard Ground: 3–7 business days (continental U.S.)
-2-Day Air: 2 business days
-Overnight: 1 business day Please note these are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Planet Apparel is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or supply chain disruptions.
7. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages
Once a package leaves our facility or our vendor’s warehouse, responsibility for delivery passes to the carrier. If your package is marked “Delivered” but cannot be located: 1. Check with neighbors, mailrooms, or building management. 2. Wait 24–48 hours, as carriers sometimes scan items early. 3. If still missing, file a claim directly with the carrier. We will assist you in resolving shipping issues whenever possible but cannot issue replacements or refunds for carrier-confirmed deliveries. For damaged shipments, notify us within 7 business days of delivery and include photos of the packaging and product, along with a description of the issue.
8. International Orders
Currently, Planet Apparel primarily ships within the United States and its territories. If you need international delivery, please mention it when requesting your quote so we can confirm eligibility, duties, and customs fees. International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees.
9. Address Accuracy
Please verify all shipping addresses before approving your quote or invoice. Planet Apparel is not responsible for shipments delayed or lost due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
10. Delays and Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays caused by weather conditions, carrier disruptions, vendor backorders, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control. If delays occur, our team will communicate updates promptly and provide revised estimated delivery dates.
